We noticed each other on Drexel's campus beginning at freshman orientation, but the stars would not align until the end of our 2nd year when a mutual friend formally introduced us. Kevin, an aspiring mechanical engineer on the ice hockey team and a seasoned scuba diver, immediately bonded with Sarah, a sorority girl studying Dance and Education, over a love of seeking adventure and staying active. While Sarah completed a 450 hour Pilates certification and took her required injury prevention class, she realized she was better suited for a career in Physical Therapy. Sarah graduated with her Bachelors in Dance but discontinued her Masters in Education to pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy instead. Despite the change in degree, Sarah's passion for working in pediatrics and neurology remained steady. While Sarah continued her education at Thomas Jefferson University and teaching Pilates, we bought our first house, got engaged, married shortly after graduation, and began traveling the world as much as possible!

 

Kids did not come easily for us, making Sarah question if she could continue her career in pediatrics. While going through endless fertility testing and diagnoses, we made drastic changes to our lifestyle that resulted in naturally conceiving L within 2 months! This is when Sarah was initially inspired to start sharing with the world all the knowledge she gathered from her personal and professional life. However, Kevin prefers to be a man of mystery in contrast to Sarah's oversharing. We weighed the pros and cons and agreed to keep life mostly off the internet. Fast forward through a pandemic, the explosion of social media, and the arrival of our second child M, we found ourselves unhappy and fed up with toxic work environments and schedules. Kevin ended up unemployed between jobs for several months which became a blessing and a curse. Desperate to make any extra income, Sarah seized the opportunity to reintroduce the idea of a family Instagram account. What started as a fun side hustle quickly began to grow into a community inspiring US to keep going and dreaming. We registered Phun Phit Pham as an LLC in 2024 and look forward to seeing how our vision unfolds. As Walt Disney said (and Kevin quoted in our wedding vows), "if you can dream it, you can do it."

TL;DR: We have been together since college. Our sense of adventure, diverse backgrounds, and life experiences personally and professionally have fostered a wide knowledge base. We stumbled into creating a business out of it and can't wait to continue expanding our offerings over time!
